Discover Life and Purpose

Proverbs 19:8 Isaiah 6:1-8

Search me Lord
And know my ways,
If there is any evil way;
See me through
Everlasting Lord
I belong to you.

Actually, a walk with God begins with self-discovery and repentance. Before one will become great and useful to God, such person must see him or her self, be touched and changed through ‘a personal encounter with the Lord’. People encounter God through many ways, and this encounter brings about a turn-around in one’s life.
So many examples of people in the Bible to illustrate with, who encountered God; genuinely.

The woman with the issue of blood, Blind Barthmeous, The Samaritan woman, even the disciples. Everyone who has an encounter with God got their lives transformed; WHY? Because God’s power and word superceeds human knowledge, expertise, experience, understanding and it is capable to deliver, save, liberate, establish a man totally.

James 1:25.
Believers, The word of the gospel is the perfect mirror that will help us reflect ‘how we are’, ‘where we are’ ‘how we ought to be’ ‘what we ought to have become’ teach, coordinate, guide and guard us.
The urgent decision to make now: Is to discover yourself, through the word of God- seek and see the perfect will of God for your life.

Put A Smile On Somebody’s Face Today

”Put a smile on somebody’s face today, Just because you can” 😊😊💪
I Peter 4:7-11
God has made us in His own very image. He called us to be His extension in a broken world.
As believers, we ought to stand and encourage other people too, and aid the extension of God’s hand in this broken world.
You have found yourself around people of different kinds (Male/Female; Friends, Colleagues, Relatives.. at work, school, office or wherever); Not just by chance or coincidence BUT to be a healing balm to their wounds and hurt.
There are people around who are dying of broken hearts, pains in their bodies, confusion, depression, bitterness. Some employ materials to enhance their physical appearance or even smile to cover up but they still do not conceal or take away their problems.

Anyways, YOU have the ability to mend their broken hearts, be the healing balm to sooth their pains, give encouragement to the down casted and bear their burden.
Introduce them to Christ, Inform them that Jesus loves them dearly, Tell them of the grace and mercy to enjoy from the throne of God; Proclaim the good deeds of the light of salvation that frees a man from sin and gives victory to live a new Life.
Rise to Duty Now (Isaiah 60)
Yes, you can😊

Down, But Not Out

Micah 7:8-13 Psalms 126

The heart is always the battle ground and hence the Bible urges us to ‘guard’ our heart with all diligence because out of it springs the issues of life. This indicates, that our heart houses every detail about the affairs of life and we need to ‘teach it’ ‘coordinate it’ ‘maintain it’ and watch it spring forth great things for our lives.

The matter of success and defeat is in the mind💪. If one feels defeated inside, he finds it difficult to get up. People today, feel discouraged, distressed, depressed and even dismayed because they felt they could no longer move on, or soar greatly
The downfall of a man is not the end of His life. Believers today, bend to the voice of the
 Devil and accept defeat; But
“...I will arise; when I sit in darkness, the LORD will be a light to me” (Micah 7:8-13)

Greater Praise, Greater Raise!

Psalms 148:1-14
Everything around us is praising God; the stars, the sun, the moon, the cloud.. the Cherubim and Seraphim, the twenty and four elders, the heaven of the heavens... the trees in the forest, the flowers, the seas, the cloud and every living creature; All that God has made are beautiful and they give praise for His great and good deeds!

Praising God is a command. God has created us for His own pleasure, and we ought to praise Him. We all are made in His own likeness and image and this is to glorify Him.
Pause for a while and tell yourself the truth: It is much more better to fill the atmosphere with praise than to bombard heavens with petitions. You gain heavenly access faster with praise and it also shows that you believe that God is a God of impossibilities.
Count your blessings rather, Praise God for His kindness and mercies you have enjoyed— Build the attitude of ‘praise’ and  get more ‘raise’.

.. Give God more ‘Praise’ then get more ‘Raise’ in return😊😊
Psalms 103:2 Psalms 86:9-10
Psalms 29:1-10

Renew Your Mind

The New Living Translation renders  the scripture ‘Romans 12:2’ as thus; “Don’t copy the behavior and customs of this world, But let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will learn to know God’s will for you, which is good and pleasing and perfect.” One of the most needed things among the body of Christ today is having the revelation of the knowledge of the Word of God.
To understand what revelation knowledge is and how to get it functional in your life, you have to know at least some of the basics about your spirit, soul, and body. Your spirit is the part of you that was changed at salvation. II Corinthians 5:17 “Therefore if any man be in a Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.”

Your body and soul didn’t become totally new. They can be changed and renewed as you grow in the Lord, but that is a continuing process. (Romans 12:1-10). The only part of of you that is completely changed at salvation is your inner man or spirit. Our opening scripture admonishes thus; “Don’t copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think.
This born-again spirit is renewed in knowledge after the image of Him that created him. But this knowledge will not profit the physical body until it is released by the renewing of the mind.
Our minds are actually the battleground. Our spirits are complete and our bodies will do what they are told, but our mind (which includes our intellect) have the responsibility to choose or exercise our free will. So in that sense, a person’s soul is the master control over the whole person.

For the born-again man, the spirit is the driving or life-giving force, but the soul has the last say-so because of the will. God will not violate our free will except in final judgement. Therefore, it is necessary that we get this “mind of Christ” (which we have recieved in our spiritual man), functioning in our minds so we can make the right choices.
And this is done by studying the Word of God. God’s Word is wisdom of God written down so that our minds can read and understand it.
But we must have spiritual understanding because God’s Word is spiritual and it is life (John 6:36)
We can achieve this through the renewal of our minds through His Word.

Victory through Christ Jesus

I Corinthians 15:47-58
The death and resurrection of Jesus Christ fromed dthe foundation of Christianity. His resurrection gave believers victory. The Bible states that the wages of sin is death; It also states that all have sinned and come short of the glory of God. In other words, everyone owed the debt of death.

Meanwhile, God who is Love, out of His great love for mankind sent His only begotten Son to take the place of man, come to the earth in human form. He who knew no sin carried the sin of man and so faced with the wages of sin which is death. He then paid the debt He did not owe and that was the debt of death.
Yes, Jesus staled ut all. He stated before He gave up the  ghost that ‘it is finished’. The whole sorrows, depression, sickness, gloominess, famine, thirst, hunger even death is finished. His death and resurrection therefore ensures that man, specifically believers are set free and made victorious.
Jesus conquered the world and He has given you victory , Yes victory over death and that is the greatest victory!  Matthew 28:1-10

What an assurance! What a victory!

Talk To God Instead

Hebrews 4:11-16
We go through so many challenges in our lives, marriage, family, business, offices, establishments even in church. And maybe worse to the extent that we get insulted, maltreated, abused and somewhat feel less of what we are/what God has destined us to be.
As a result, we sometimes take rash decisions, and this tend to heighten the problems instead of calming or solving them.. As it is natural for man to breathe so it is normal for Him to take decisions abruptly and act likewise. At times we take decisions in anger talk and act rashly.

But one thing stands, If man can learn to talk to God ‘first’ whenever there are problems, many mistakes will be averted. It is one thing to talk to God first and another thing to allow Him respond (in form of ministrations, or inspire you).
If God you will talk to God, then you will need to talk to Him first, and instead of talking decisions in a hurry and then head to regret, ruin doom. God wants you to rather inform Him, talk to Him about where you are, What you need and not being anxious, murmuring, self-pity. God can direct you, guide and guard your paths all you need do His acknowledge Him and submit every thing into His manufacturing and repairing hands.
Beloved, you have talked severally to such one that you look up to to get help from, Why not try God.. Talk To God Instead. Hold yourself! Hold your anger! Allow God to direct you. Don’t be in a haste! Wait for God!
God cares for you, and He knows what you’re going through, He will indeed come to you aid. Cast all your cares on Him Instead. Talk To God today!

Seek After Him; Yourself

Genesis 17:1
God seeks for true worshippers. Those who will seek Him, reference Him in their ways and totally rely on Him. As the supreme being, God intends that every creation will humbly seek His face and presence themselves.
This includes the act of going to the Father, searching through the scriptures and getting the raw truth ourselves.
We cannot exclude seeking after God ourselves from our living as Christians. It cost nothing for you to go to God yourself. It actually establishes your son-ship as a heir. Creates a more intimate atmosphere between you and God.

You’re All That God Wants

Maybe we can agree that the same fact became confusing to Peter. Maybe He gave up on the fact that God desires His work/walk in the Ministry (John 21:15).
But one thing stands for sure, and that is the truth that You and I are all that God wants. So the questions from thence could be ‘Why does God want me’ ‘Why would God desire me’ ‘What exactly do I have to offer God’...

Well, to cut straight to the answer: You are everything that matters to God. At the beginning of time, (according to the story of creation), God created a lot of things (sun, animals, creeping things, air, dry land and so on) but there was a creation that became the top of them all, that creation was made ‘Head’, that creation was made to rule, have dominion upon other things-and that was The Man (Adam).

It was never a mistake to make The Man the ruler upon every other things- God has destined and fashioned it to be that way. And that is where the story of our Dominion began from.
Genesis 1: 28

Your Father (GOD) owns everything, You are the heir; No owner will give out His inheritance to a slave, so you are the heir to God’s inheritance-OWN IT.

I Peter 2:9 Matthew 5:13
You are everything that God wants-To glorify Him, To proclaim His greatness, To propagate His kingdom and righteousness. Oh, He wants you Now, He wants you Always- Fill into your space of inheritance

The force of Continuity- PERSISTENCE

Persistence is one of the most important of all the virtues; i.e without persistence, you can't practice any other virtue consistently.
Persistence has varieties of meaning, these are:
•To continue in the face of obstacle
• To continue to do something in spite of difficulties or opposition
•To continue to exist when others loose hope
• The stand to continue to exist for a long period of time especially when others are against you
•To determine to do something without interruption; by repeating frequently in a way that can't disturb you
• Stand as a destiny luggage that give you blueprint of how you will be.

Persistence is to know what God want you to do and how you are suppose to do it. It is God giving ‘pictoral image’ in the heart of a man, an ability to look and see. It's not a ‘stubborn’ attitude as many people would tag it,but it's an ambition, impression, imagination, situation in due, reaction and foresight to become somebody great in life.

It's God's master plan 👉🏻Exodus 5:3, IIKings 5:13, Daniel 3:16-18, Philippians 3:10- 21, Judges 14:17, Luke 18:1-8, Numbers 25:30.
The only enemy of persistence is fear😔
Fear is an emotion that arose with impending force. Never admit failure until your last attempt, never make your last attempt until you have succeeded.

You must persist in whatever you're doing because every house of success is built on imagination, hope, faith etc.
Your hardest times often lead to the greatest moments of your life. Keep going because tough situations build strong people in the end. BE PERSISTENT TO SUCCEED.

Use YOU for YOU

Now, we will agree that sometimes when we mention the word ‘You’ it refers to a person or a single individual. But most times, this same word ‘You’ refers to a group of people in general. So particularly when we say ‘You’ we mean a person, whoever it maybe (Mr, Mrs, Miss; Chief, Honorable, Barrister...) And we say ‘You’ at the same time: we maybe referring to a group of people.

YOU already know the you that you are, (whether Mr, Mrs, Miss... your professional, talent, skills, abilities etc.) but there’s the other YOU you must discover, to utilize wisely👉🏻 And that is every individual that God has brought to your life, as you journey. Your immediate family, spiritual family, relatives, colleagues, friends, associates, clients, customers etc. Genesis 2:18

This content is absolutely not trying to establish an urgent need for a relationship or marriage, No; but this is to establish a point that YOU cannot lead on life ‘solo’; you need to utilize the opportunity of other YOU that you find around life.

Basically sometimes in cartoon series, horror or other movies we find a character usually a hero or heroine, full of strength, with super powers fighting ‘solo’- Life is never like that. There’s a reason why YOU are with the other YOU you find yourself with, all you need to do is to ‘see’ the reason/good.
At every point YOU need other YOU to uplift you, feed you with knowledge, encourage you, fight along side with you, even advice and share experiences with you. The journey is much more easier with a team!

God gave Adam Eve, Esther had Mordacei, Even Jesus had 12disciples and other women disciples. There will be No or less success fighting ‘solo’. Utilize the other YOU wisely. Acknowledge their presence and thank God for bringing them into your life.
As you utilize, this is not to be selfish, cunny or snap the life out of them, but wisely Utilize their help, advice, and all other things they can offer.

The more challenges, the more SPICE

No, this is not actually about your large bowl of ‘spicy’ indomitables noodles🌚 or maybe you just thought of the sweet savor from a hot spicy plate of pepper soup, Not at all😊. This👉🏻  Is about right motives as we live as Christians. From a simple picture, let me draw your attention to something. When you examine how little children are, you’d notice that growing up after birth; they never just grow straight up... what I mean by ‘straight up’ is this: they don’t just develop teeth, full hair, strong bones, and the rest so simple. There are stages; and each of those stages comes with a little stress-now there is the challenge.
The growth from a child- to being an adolescent- down to adulthood- comes with a whole lot of challenges.

Growth, will never occur unless something pushes; push from the usual natural self, coming out of your comfort zones, taking risks, making countless efforts, sometimes even make mistakes, recover, retry..on and on and it goes on like that.

Challenges, is what we sometimes call problems, or maybe trials or tribulations. What we sometimes see as challenges, are hard times, failure at a thing, disappointment, discouraging situation, and so on.
Or maybe we have even thought of challenges to be whatever that limits us, whatever that throws  us down, or that trys to stop us from becoming what God has called and ordined us to be.

Well, Maybe you’re half-way right, But I’d like to address Challenges to be; ‘what takes you out of your normal self’/situation that dares you to become better. Life, is never meant to be a peaceful, still, calm, sea-dive! Maybe growing up, we were always reminded that everything is beautiful, arranged, complete and we have the intents that ‘Life is Good’
YES, Life is Good.. But consider John 16:33.
Jesus never wanted us to go into the world without having a fore knowledge of what we should expect in the world. The Bible passage (John 16:33) gives us a good picture of how living in the world would be.

Knowing fully that the world will not always be the way we fantasize it to be, there would be challenges, the sea-dive will not always be without storm, thunder, lighting, roars, fears, discouragement.. BUT Be of good cheer, He already overcame all of life for us to live beautifully.

Your Christian life, will never be without challenges.
It is those challenges that will make you grow, it is like the spice that will give your life more life, more aroma, season it and  ‘ginger’ 🤣 you to do more. Challenges will keep up good vibes for you, Just like you completing a level of ‘candy crush’ game, You will get into another level, and gradually you become a Pro and you can flaunt your high level scores🤣. Same applies to life, those challenges are such that you can overcome (unless you decide to limit yourself).
 (Phillipians 4:13)
Don’t forget, everyone faces challenges, but people that overcomes are those that will be celebrated. Change your perspective about ‘challenges’ just be more ready to welcome more of it, so you can record more victories overcome , and then pop-up to the next levels.

Yes, you Can!
Challenges, will only come and go
Tough times never last
But, tough people do!

The Concept of Faith, and Christian Living

The simplest definition of ‘Faith’ in the scripture is given in Hebrews 11 verse 1.
The concept of ‘Faith’ speaks the word of ‘hope’ ‘assurance’ of God’s promises for us, and not going by what we can only see at the moment.
If we believe that indeed we have heirs of the kingdom, and we have a future and in hope in God. If God is indeed our Father, and we believe His words and promises, we still have to apply the force of FAITH.
In a controversial world, as such that we find ourselves, It will be difficult to live by just what we can see with the physical eyes. As belivers, we cannot live by sight.. we need to apply Faith into our Christian living. Faith is the force that can help move our mountains, ease our stress and struggles, launch us above the wiles of the evil ones and take us deeper, wider, higher than we can even think of.
Hebrews 11 verse 2, the scripture establishes that the ancients (those who lives before us) were commended for their act of Faith; Noah (the ark builder), Rahab (the harlot), Abraham (A Friend if God/The Father of Faith). When you look carefully into their lifestyle, It is crystal clear that they never lived by ‘sight’ or by the current situation of things or even go by the confusing words of people around they stood firmly on the words and promises of God, through Faith!
The biggest discovery of Abraham was not the fact the He was becoming old and going childless and without a heir, But His biggest discovery was Faith. That even If it seemed to the physical eyes that He was almost childless, He chose to stand with God’s promises.

It will be a sad thing, if anyone builds His/Her life without placing Faith as a ‘shield’ to extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil ones. (Ephesians 6:16). The journey of life to fulfillment is never perfect without Faith. The pathway to pleasing God is by Faith.
And not to forget, Faith comets by hearing the word of God.
Constantly remind yourself that God loves you, He has big promises for your life.
You have a hope, a future, an expected end.
So trust Him.
Faith Never Fails
Trust God because He can, and He will.

With God

John 15:5   If there is anything that should be done this year, If there is anything to be achieved/established/accomplished then it should ...
